I am intrigued by the online decorating services like Home Polish, Havenly, Decor in a Box.

Has anyone tried these?

I'm interested because I'm kind of "halfway there" as far as pulling my home together. I have the basics – furniture, and some accessories. I just need the final tweaking, such as pillow, art, maybe lighting and some room arranging ideas.

I'm busy, too busy to shop, really. And I am weary of trying to hire someone by the hour, and then finding out after the fact that their tastes just aren't aligned with what I want.

Very eager to hear if anyone has used any of the services successfully. Share your stories!

Thanks in advance!

Not something I am interested in but curious as to what they charge. I will also offer that if you are willing to post pictures there are some very, very talented people on CD that will offer the kind of advice you are seeking for free. Just a thought.

I tend to look at inspiration pictures and then wing it from there...but if you want a decorator I would get someone in person. One suggestion I have is to go to a local fabric store that also makes curtains and such. If you show them a picture of your space they're usually great about suggesting color schemes, prints and patterns that work well together and some will even come to your house to see and measure first.
