Here it is folks! Pretty much anything you wish to yack about can go right here. There are no topics, no structure no anything except adherence to the TOS ...just enjoy yourselves!

If this seems to be of interest to the folks that generally post in this forum I'll leave it "stuck" at the top if not it'll just fade away

added 12-5:

So as to not muck up the forum with off topic but nonetheless interesting threads and posts, please make every attempt to place them here in the chat thread right off the bat. Most people swing by the Houston forum looking specifically for information regarding relocation issues and would rather not wade through a bunch of non relevant material during their search. If you have posted something up and it ain't where you left it when you come back look in here because it probably (if it didn't get deleted ) got moved here by me. Please report any spam or advertising you see pop up in here! Thanks folks

Living in Houston but having been to Phoenix, I don't think there is any comparison. Our weather (humidity aside) is far superior to that of Phoenix; our job market is much stronger and certainly our housing costs are much less. Plus, one of these days, Phonenix is going to run out of water...and it isn't likely to be an issue here for eons, if ever.

I know that user was just joking, but it's been said that Houston is a city of speed traps.
