I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the kingwood, humble area is like?
Coming from the San Francisco Bay Area We are used to a diverse mix of people and would like to find the same in the houston area. Any information would be great! Also schools in this area, we have three boys 14,6 and 1.

Thanx Julie

Default Kingwood Area

Hello Julie and Family

My name is Delores, the Kingwood area is real nice especially for golfers. The area has a lot of trees I guess that is why they would call it Tthe Livable Forest. It has a low crime rate and is probably one of the better areas to live in for schools and just raising a family. The other would be The Woodlands and Katy area. Mod cut

The schools are top-notch in this area. Of course, as far as a diverse mix of people goes, it's kind of hard to beat San Francisco, but the area has a high percentage of Whites and Hispanics followed by about 15% Black. About 3% of the city's population is made up of Asian immigrants.

go for the woodlands, but very pricy and only increasing. But beoing from CA this is nothing new. Someplace else is the league city area. This is a waterfront community. Good housing prices. Good schools. Just keep an eye on hurricanes.

I agree with the Woodlands reccomendation. Home values in the Woodlands area show a steady rate of appreciation.
