Any other things to do with elementary aged kids on weekends?

1. Space Center Houston (NASA)
2. Kemah Boardwalk
3. Moody Gardens in Galveston
4. Houston Children’s Museum
5. Downtown Aquarium
6. Houston Botanic Garden
7. Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Garden
8. Ice Skating Rink at Galleria Mall
9. Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (and Carnival)
10. Houston Astros Baseball Games

Those were places I could think of off the top of my head…

11. Discovery Green (that's a big one, actually...they have kids/family programming in addition to just being a park)
12. Memorial Park and Houston Arboretum
13. Hines Waterwall Park
14. Bear Creek Park "zoo" (is it still there?)
15. Funplex
16. Big Rivers waterpark
17. October and November - Texas Renaissance Festival (if you have some "tolerance" )

Go crabbing somewhere along the coast. Kids really enjoy it. try Sargent or Freeport.

Washington on the Brazos
7 Acre Wood in Lake Conroe is fun for younger elementary school kids. Might want to combine that with a trip to the Woodlands.
