Has anyone had to go to jury duty in downtown Houston at 12:30pm? Is there parking available in the jury duty parking garage around 11:30am-12:00pm? The last time I had to appear (4 years ago), it was in the morning (8:00 I believe) and I was able to take the free Metro. However, when I looked up the schedule, Metro stops running its busses from my park and ride to downtown at about 8:45am, so it looks like I get to drive tomorrow.

Just worried about parking.

There should be parking available, a lot of people leave early from jury duty because they were not selected.

Which park and ride do you use?
I believe that a few of them run all day long

Thanks! I'm hoping that they wouldn't schedule people to come in the afternoon if there wasn't available parking. Not everyone has easy access to Metro.

Park and ride = Northwest Station (Cy-Fair area). I didn't scroll far enough down and misread the schedule, but it does look like there is a bus that runs once an hour starting at about 9:40. Depending on the weather and how my ankle* is feeling in the morning will determine if I want to drive or take the bus and walk the 7 or 8 blocks from the bus stop to where we're supposed to report.

*Ever since I broke it a number of years ago, it acts like a wonderful barometer and aches when it thinks it is going to rain (usually fairly accurate) - been aching the last couple of days and I don't feel like limping the 7 or 8 blocks if it's aching tomorrow.
