He sure didn't fake getting his butt whupped tonight. This coach was also the guy who pretended to get hit by a coin when he was coaching at Pitt against WVU a few years ago.

Yeah, WVU killed them, as expected. We did it with honor and integrity too. Maybe Marshall should learn a lesson from this.

I don't get into any of this WVU vs. Marshall stuff, but...

Wow, what a disgrace, what an absolute embarrassment. Do dignity and class mean anything to this jerk? Or (by association) this university?

The original video has been taken down, btw, so here it is at another site:

Herrion is a bozo. The fake heart attack was incredible. I saw the replay of that. He sure found his home where he is currently located.

It was, however, a Great Herd Moral Victory that they were able to take advantage of an injury to our power forward and tie the game at halftime. Huggs got serious in the second half though, and it was all over.

The amazing thing is their school is only 50 miles from Charleston, but they had maybe 20% of the number of fans there as West Virginia.

Seemed like a lot more than 20%...I was actually surprised by the amount of green.

I agree. Seemed more like a 60-40 split from where I sat.

I sat in the corner catty corner from the Herd pep band. From my vantage point it was all gold and blue except the end and one corner. There were some Marshall fans scattered through the WV section though. I had a couple sitting in the row behind me. Taking them into consideration, maybe 30% is more accurate but from about 5 minutes into the first half we didn't hear much from them. They didn't comprise 5% of the crowd by the time the game was over.

Did you go to the WV Alumni reception Tim? It was a nice party, and entirely free except for the drinks. If you were a contributor, the first drink was even free.

Nope. Even though my wife and I are both alumni, we probably wouldn't have fit in well with our green and white on.

Too bad, you missed a good time. We did have some green folks there, and they seemed to have a nice time too.
