On the radio I heard that they are widening Zeirdt road too.

five lanes, bicycle path, sidewalks...

I guess this is why they haven't repaved it in years.

That's working, but has more to do with federal dollars than ALDOT. Maybe by the end of this year we'll see some action there.

But they did not announce when will this project start. It will only now be included in the "plan". Could be another 5 years.

It's amazing how fast they can buil roads if they "really" want it. Look at how fast they got the Redstone Gateway going.

When they decide to be serious about it. Oh, and if there is a lot of money at stake. Redstone Gateway had the full backing of HSV and the Army.

HSV doesn't care about Old Madison Pike as it feeds into Madison.
