Does anyone know if the Marshall Space Flight Centre is open to foreign visitors? Can't find any mention of it on the web site.

I am a UK resident thinking of a visit.

The only reason I ask is because the Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida is restricted to US citizens/permanent residents as it is part of a military base.

I would highly recommend visiting the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, which is open to all.

Since MSFC is on Redstone Arsenal, a military base, I don't think you will have much luck.

Here are some links to assist in your planning:

U.S. Space & Rocket Center

Once again I highly recommend visiting the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.
Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, they stopped doing tours of Marshall Space Flight Center for now. They were an optional tour from the U.S. Space and Rocket Center here in Huntsville. Here is a link to the web page for them where you can check to see if they resume them in the futre: https://www.nasa.gov/marshall/visit-...205%20and%20up.

With that said, it is also in a restricted area so I am not sure if non-US residents would be able to take the tour if it was to resume. However, the Space and Rocket Center has some pretty cool things to see. There is a fully assembled Saturn V standing outside that you can walk right up to and see how tall it actually is in real life. There is also another Saturn V inside that is has it's stages broken apart so you can see each one and the rocket engines for each. There is also a full space shuttle called pathfinder that was a test vehicle for the SLS launch systems.

Have they finished the renovations on this?

I saw the U.S. Space and Rocket Center bus taking a tour on Marshall Space Flight Center just this week.

That is odd because you can't even purchase tickets for it and it says on the webpage the tours are suspended. Maybe it was a tour for those in a space camp program.

When I worked there, if a foreign national came in for legitimate business reasons, he had to have a continuous escort.

Taking the public tour is probably open to anyone.
