Does anyone have any information on Wyatt's Lawnmower Service "business" in Hazel Green, AL? The building is located at 13870 Hwy 231 / Hazel Green, AL 35750. There are lawnmowers spread all across the property, and mostly looks like a lawnmower grave site. I am suspecting that my Z121S Kubota zero-turn mower has been STOLEN.
About a month and a half ago I was driving down Hwy 231 and saw this business. I stopped by and had a conversation with three (3) total guys. An older gentleman (Mr. Wyatt) seemed to be the owner, while a middle aged and younger guy appeared to be the repairmen. We agreed they would do an engine swap for me. I was TDY pretty much the entire month of September, but did receive one (1) follow-up phone call from the older guy confirming that the engine was indeed bad on the unit, and they would do the engine swap for an agreed upon price.
Well after returning from TDY, about two weeks pass. I called the number and it has been disconnected. I went by the business on Monday (23 October 2023) evening around 4pm after work and no one was there. Yet my mower was still sitting in the same spot under the shed behind the building with many other mowers. No one was there, but the actual door knob was now missing and the door was being secured by a locked dead bolt. I went by again the very next day (Tuesday 24 October 2023) and my mower was GONE! The deadbolt was not locked but no one was inside either. I've drove by the business several times over the past few days and I can't catch anyone there.
I went to the gas station across the street to inquire about if anyone had been seen at the lawnmower business recently. It was mentioned that "someone died" at the business, although I can't confirm the validity of this information.

Any information would help and is GREATLY appreciated! I hate to file a police report, as Mr. Wyatt seemed to be a good and honest guy, but that is my next step because I'd like to know what has happened to my mower. And it is very odd for my mower to be there for over a month, but as soon as I stop to check on it, it disappears the very next day.

Unfortunate incident here. That address is a bank. Bad engine on a $2k mower is often the end of the line.
