"450-acre business park with 4 million square feet of office space"

"include developing two hotels with 350 rooms total, restaurants, stores and offices to be used by defense contractors"

"There might not be a building out there for three more years. If this comes together, it could be 15 years before it's finished."

This is great news, but I wish that it wouldn't take so long.

Gee, how time flies, 9 months later and the price is down another $3Mil. Any takers? Hopefully this realtor has other sellable properties in his portfolio, or another source of income.

An Earth Fare is coming to Huntsville. Will be right across from Madison Square Mall in the old Circuit City location.

Also an update post was done on the "Watercrest Green" complex. Huntsville Development News: Kroger coming to "Watercress Green"

"LW Redstone, a Montgomery firm, would lease and develop 470 acres of unused property for $1 billion office park at Redstone Arsenal for offices, classrooms, research and conference space for federal employees and contractors.

The plan also includes two hotels with a total of 350 rooms, restaurants and stores.

The land, which is owned by the federal government and generates no taxes today, would be annexed into Huntsville and the office park buildings would be subject to property, sales, liquor and lodging taxes.

Most of the office park would be on arsenal property just outside Gate 9, but about 80 acres behind the fence would be reserved for companies with stricter security needs."
