I would be more worried about "patriotic" Evangelicals than I would LDS members.

Can't always judge a book by its cover.

I would be more concerned about the traffic congestion and any two legged creatures.

I would be worried about anyone who was worried about any other belief, than their own.

You don't live in Idaho and really have no idea of what I am referring to. Move to the state, live here for a while and then let me know.

I have lived in Idaho and have family and friends there. I do know; and complaints about any belief different that someone else's is more a condemnation of your own.

To clarify, I am not a Mormon/LDS.

Relax Racer. The LDS religion is deeply rooted in SE Idaho and it is the way it is. It's also known that cities/towns/regions that have one dominant religion can become a social issue for some people who don't belong to a certain religion.

I do know for a fact that I would much rather have LDS neighbors than the other I pointed out in my post yesterday. And, yes, I am very familiar with both religions.

I think Pocatello is diverse enough that anyone could fit in as long as they are ok with the smallish size of the city. A city like Rexburg or many cities in Utah would be a different issue.

Yes, I got along just fine with them and they even helped me on one occasion. No problem with them being neighbors, even if we disagreed on belief. I suppose in a small city it could have an impact, but never hear of it.
