Yep. But you can’t make scary video cuts of those people like you can the border. Also it’s much easier in the US to trigger folks if you show a bunch of brown people entering instead of focusing on European, Israel, non Chinese Asians all overstaying VISAs.
Hell the last Presidents wife could not speak English and everyone gave it a pass. But they get triggered when a brown skinned lady at Walmart speaks broken English the same way the First Lady does.
There needs to be immigration reform, the border issue should be included as should overstaying VISAs but Republicans have no interest in actually passing anything, for them it’s better to run on it. For Republicans it is better to have a portion of the country scarred and upset than try to resolve anything because Fear in the US Drives Votes.
And I am harder on Republicans on this because they specifically run on immigration reform, promising the moon, yet never even try to propose anything useful once elected to congress the actual body required to create reforms. Democrats don’t promise crap so at least they are honest about it, they’re not hiding it.

In my prior post I denoted that at any given time there are less than 1 million visa over stayers in our country opposed to millions of border jumpers so why should we focus more on the former than the latter? At least we know something about the visa over stayers but nothing about these border jumpers some whom are terrorists and criminals. At any rate though both the border jumpers and visa over stayers need to be deported.

Really? The House Republicans passed a good border bill last year but not one Democrat would sign it. So you were saying? The Democrats have been promising amnesty among other things to these illegal aliens for years now where have you been? As for reform that's just a code work for amnesty. No thanks!
Who is there to lobby? The GOP establishment likes illegal immigration as much as the Democrats do, just for different reasons. The GOP likes how illegal immigrant employees depress wages and lower costs for their fat-cat business buddies.
The Democrats are just as guilty of that and you know it. They have another motive to though. They want to make citizens out of these illegals so that they will have a larger voting block.

...lobby your elected officials into jailing and imposing astronomical fines for employers who hire illegals. They won't come here if there no work for them. Way more effective than pouring money into enforcement and medieval barricades that achieve little more than satisfy the blood lust of those not educated enough to realize that the vast majority of illegals fly here and overstay their visas.
When you see all these ICE raids at meat processing plants that end with barely a slap on the wrist for employers and often conveniently occur in the midst of workers negotiating safer conditions, you know it's a farce. The pRich people are just paying FOX people to tell working people to blame poor people for stagnant wages.
Also remember that the vast majority of illegals don't enter via the southern border; they fly here and overstay their tourist visas.

It was a bipartisan bill until Trump stepped in and said don't fix it, I want credit. Per Republicans(though you'd probably just call them RINOs).
Then they went along spreading misinformation about it allowing 5,000 people a day to justify. Which even per Lankford(R) is nonsense.
"Right now there's internet rumors is all that people are running on. It would be absolutely absurd for me to agree to 5,000 people a day. This bill focuses on getting us to zero illegal crossings a day. There's no amnesty."
