Please dont post thing about these murders unless you know they are true fact! I am a family member of one of the boys. This is how rumors start. Leave it alone, please! My family and the others have endured enough heartache. Let the authorities take care of things. Thank you and god bless.

I too grew up in henryville.it's strange the name stargel came up.i know something about this man.and i think the 1st baptist church from the 70's know about him.he tried to sexually assault me.i ran all the way back to henryville.he lived on bluelick rd. Fs

I do not believe Stargel was involved in the murders. I have heard he was a strange man, but not involved.

I remember hearing about murders of young boys in the Henryville area from my mother a while back. She was telling me that a doctor, Kenneth Hines, from southern Indiana was suspected for a while in the killings (a doctor she knew as she was a nurse at Clark County Hospital). The doctor pled guilty to child molesting and some of the prisoners at the Henryville Youth Camp Correctional Facility in Clark State Forest (in Henryville) reported he touched them inappropriately while examining them. Note that the Correctional Facility no longer houses youths, but did in the 1970s. I find this interesting as Clark State Forest is where a few of these boys were found. On December 19, 1979, Hines had pled guilty to child molestation and surrendered his medical license.. from what I understand, he promptly left the area. That's not to say he had anything to do with this, but apparently some in the community at least suspected him at the time.
