I have a question about the Torah...I understand that it contains the first 5 books of Moses...(I would assume that it would be different than the KJ bible version.. due to the translation). What other material is in the Torah and is the Kabala (sp) a different book? Thanks.

The Kabbalah is a work of mysticism. It is not the Torah, and vice-versa.

So the Kabala is not a regular part of Jewish religion? The Torah is the spiritual part?

In general, that's right. Anyone studying the Kabala is doing so because they have an interest in it.

By the way, I hope you don't mind that I'm not answering you with an endless stream of paragraphs and quotations. I see that on plenty of other threads, and the copywriter in me is appalled by it. I cannot make myself write ten paragraphs when one will do!
