This park is so underutilized it's pathetic. I dunno why, it's so lovely, it's probably because it's separated by a busy street and it's set on a hill.

It's a start I suppose, but dressing up the park for commuters will do little. Spend that money on a pedestrian bridge linking the two halves of the park and build a pedestrian/bike trail system in the park that is comprehensive and interactive with surrounding developments.

Right now, the few pedestrian trails that exist are chopped up with dead ends, none of which really go anywhere etc.

The park would be a great disc golf park or it would be a nice place to build an aquarium. (but KC's aquarium will be in a mall I guess)...whatever.

Those should be some very nice (and much needed) improvements! I look forward to seeing it completed!

But seriously, do they do anything in this city not funded by TIFs?

That's good news! I drive through there 5 days a week and always wonder what the point of having a park where you can't go or do anything is.
