Up until this summer, I had been going home, so I would have my annual exam with my gynecologist there. However, it is almost time for my annual, and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good doctor? In addition to needing my annual exam, I've been having some problems lately that I need to have checked, so it is very important that I find someone. I apologize if anyone finds this topic too personal; the last thing I want to do is offend anyone. All of my close friends went home for the summer and have no advice to offer, so I didn't know where else to turn. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated!

Dr. Farrell (female) at UT is very good. She's young, but very easy to talk to, very sweet, very knowledgeable. 305-8787 (I can't find her on the main website, but she's there)

Dr. Myers (male) is great too - he handles additional problems - more of an expert I guess.

I have went to Dr. Robert Tatum for 24 years.. I love him! He is at St. Mary's (or Mercy.. whichever they call it now.. it will always be St. Mary's to me) I started seeing him when I was 13. ..had alot of problems.. he is easy to talk to, he delivered my daughter also. He has a long waiting list.. so if you decide on him I will call asap. The name of the practice is East TN OB/GYN..

Oh my! I just can't recommend him.
But you are right, he only takes high risk. He isn't a regular ob/gyn.
