This is something I've been interested in doing for a while, and I just wanted to see if anybody around here had any experience with it. I'm a college student, but I feel like I can free up at least a few hours a week for a worthy cause like this.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!

No. I haven't heard anything about that organization, although I had a friend that was affiliated with them in Florida and they have certainly been around a long time. As far back as I can remember, and that is truly saying something!

I think that for you to be interested in volunteering for them, or anywhere else, is highly commendable. Being a student is not easy. Whatever you decide to do the organization will be better because you were affiliated with it. I am sure your parents are very proud!
