I've been to Harry's. It's a sweet little place run by a Greek. The food is okay. Mostly diner food, really. Best Italian that I've found, so far, is at Naples Italian in Bearden. I've yet to try Savelli's which is also in Bearden. They say it is slightly cheaper and same quality.

There is also some great barbecue at M and M on Middlebrook Pike. It's a hole in the wall with great food. Dead End Barbecue is a local place, too, that just opened up. My husband and I are not fans of the sauce so we get the stuff to go and throw my sauce on, but they have some fairly inspired food like macaroni and cheese with pimento cheese and coleslaw with blue cheese dressing. Odd but it works. And if you like tangy bbq sauce that leans toward the tomato sauce side, you may like it. I lean more toward the Worcestershire with a balance of vinegar and oil, sweet and hot.

Mom and pop restaurants are really popping up around here. I think it's because small business seems to be where it's at due to the fallout from the recession.

Oh, and I've been to Asia Cafe. I live right around the bend from there. It's pretty good. Probably one of the best that I have found around here.
