Ours is currently on the Weber Kettle roasting away. I found the recipe on their website a few years ago, and it is awesome...with a White Wine Gravy.

I used a honey brine. It was a recipe off of epicurious. The best turkey I ever made, complete with cream gravy, and I've made a Gourmet magazine recipe, previously. I highly recommend it. The turkey was bursting with juice.

Um, er, well, we didn't have turkey. We chose a honey glazed ham instead Baked, the ham was baked. Fully baked as opposed to half baked as we are now. It's been a long, interesting day.

Sorry for the delay. I made another round of Tequila Sunrise's. One of my longtime friends, ya know, the kind that has known you since before husbands and kids and wrinkles died in a car wreck day before yesterday and her visitation is tomorrow. Becky was an airline pilot, a great Mom, and a wonderful friend. What a class act. I actually spent Thanksgiving with her and her parents and sister one year in Pittsburgh when otherwise I would have been alone. Daggone flights are full and I can't get to Pittsburgh and back for the funeral. My Mother came for Thanksgiving and acted up. I have had enough of her rants and put my foot down today. She sulked, wouldn't speak and ended up leaving immediately after eating. This is my husbands first Thanksgiving without his Dad and he isn't handling it very well.

I vote to go away to someplace with sand and water for all future holidays. One of my favorite Thanksgiving memories was when I spent it on a beach in Puerto Rico.
