Am relocating to "God's Country" and was looking at Strawberry Plains.. but.. can't find much about it. Anyone have any info about the area? I am trying to contact chamber of Com's and things like that but so far, no luck.

One thing I learned is that the Straw Plains exit off 40 is NOT Straw Plains! It's just a section of Knoxville, it does not have its own anything. If you look up Mascot or New Market, you may find more. It's close to 2 natural beauties, House Mountain and Seven Islands Wildlife Refuge.

^^This. Strawberry Plains is a tiny unincorporated area where Knox, Jefferson, and Sevier counties meet, with most of it in Jefferson County. There's no city, no chamber of commerce, no mayor, no town council. It does have a post office and an elementary school (in Jefferson County). It's very rural and very beautiful. I used to live by the Strawberry Plains exit off I-40 (Exit 398) and locals kept correcting me when I said I lived in "Strawberry Plains." And yes, its location between House Mountain and Seven Islands is a perk. Those parks are jewels.
