Any recommendations here for apt complexes near Henderson/GVR. Looking for a 2/2 in the 900-1k range with decent amenities and fairly safe area.

There are 3 areas that I would tell you to stay away from in looking for a complex in that location...the area of Stephanie/Horizon Ridge, the area of Green Valley Parkway between Wigwam and Sunset, and the Whitney Ranch area which is Sunset between Arroyo Grande and Stephanie...

You are pushing the price point in that area...generally little below $1000.

I hesitate to recommend apartments. They are terribly sensitive to the management which sometimes changes monthly.

That said a place you might consider is Traverse Point Apartments.

Try one of the apartment services. You are looking at zips 89074 and 89012 in Henderson NV...not Las Vegas.

There are also a few condos available in one complex along GV pkwy. Drop me a PM and I will send you the listings.

Traverse Point would be nice, but it is also next to all the industrial crap in Henderson...

Bay Breeze isn't one of the greatest complexes...

I really don't think anyone will find a "perfect" apartment. But it doesn't matter if it's just a starting point until they can find something better.

When I first moved to Las Vegas, I rented an apt in The Lakes. I didn't think I'd be there that long, but 4 years passed before I moved. I grew to like it.
It can happen to anyone. You become accustomed to it, even if it isn't perfect.

What are the zip codes of Green Valley? I can't seem to find it anywhere online, even with a google search, because Green Valley is just an area of Henderson and not a real city/town. I want to know this so I can find apartments there because that is where I want to live.

89014 and 89074

89012 is Green Valley Ranch

There are not many great complexes in that area, just to let you know...

Allegro apartments on Las Palmas Entrada Avenue in Henderson are great! About a 5-10 minute drive to GVR. It's a gated community with two swimming pools, fitness room, etc.

www.allegroapartments.com -- that is the complex website. The pictures on the site are what the complex actually looks like!

The apartment complex across the street is also nice as well (not gated though), it's called Timberlake. The website is: Find Henderson apartments and homes for rent in the GREATER LAS VEGAS area at Timberlake.

Good luck!!
