What is/are your favorite casino(s) and why?

Do you prefer old downtown or the strip?

Which casino do you think has the best lodging/hotel-motel rooms?

A lot depends on what you're looking for. Personally, when I lived in Vegas from 94-99, The Orleans was my favorite- a great (and cheap) buffet, fairly loose video poker, 25 cent roulette, and not so huge that you get lost in the place.

When we visit now, we always stay at the Silverton. It's a nice, small place with inexpensive and clean rooms, also a nice buffet, and some great stuff to keep the kids busy (mermaid tank, pool, and Bass Pro Shop displays).

If you're a high-roller, my favorite is the Venetian- but I can't afford to play there....lol.

I love both. Most casinos are my favorite. The Frontier, Riviera, Sahara, Caesars, Flamingo, and Tropicana are my favorite.

I'd have to say my favorites are the Golden Nugget, Bally's and Binion's Horseshoe. I like Bally's and Golden Nugget because they aren't so overthemed-don't like the feeling of being in Disney World to that effect. Binions is taking a step back in step-a living, breathing casino museum!

Honestly, i prefer the old downtown-i like to find my way out of the casino every now and then for some fresh air and also casinos are closer for change of scenery.

I like the Golden Nuggets.

Old downtown! I like VP and if I play, it's usually Main Street Station.

I used to like all the casinos the locals play at because they are usually the cheapest and the most fun. (So, that would be almost everywhere but the Strip! )

I like the Luxor. It's a cool shape and the rooms smell like vanilla.

I love the Luxor too! The inside smells good. Vanilla or Cinnamon or something. That's why I keep going back. It's awesome, but heard that the Luxor is changing due to knew owners.
