Boulder City is clean and beautiful. No dopers bent over in front of stores, NO homeless with signs begging for food, booze money. Houses are pricey, but some are really cute. I love the little shops, parks, neon, restaurants. I would live there in a heartbeat. Sheep come down from the mountains to graze, there are tons of trees, and great landscaping. Vegas is a "hop" away, there are solar farms close by. NO casinos in town and that seems to be the best feature. There are trailer parks, and RV parks, and they aren't trashy. Over 55 places, too. Closer to the dam, I call it millionaire hill as you drive up toward the town. Huge mansions with good night lighting. Boulder City has good lighting. The garish white blinding lights are at a minimum. Lighting, and signage can make or break the atmosphere in a town. Boulder City is a winner. Google images. have a look.
