Hello

I have Tmobile Home Internet and have some issues with it. The internet slows every day around 4 pm, and the TV streaming is fuzzy and slow. I am thinking of switching back to Cox Internet. Have you experienced like this?

My Cox plan has 500MBPS but I never get more than 220MBPS so there’s that to keep in mind. Also it goes out at around 3am almost every morning. Some Sundays, I’ll have a few problems with pixelation, maybe heavy streaming or gaming at that time?

Each day that you do not get 500Mbps (megabits, not megabytes) call and ask for a bill adjustment. You'll get a couple bucks. Unfortunately you'll be on hold for some time until you get someone who can make the bill adjustment.

Every day that you do not receive promised throughput, call and ask for a bill adjustment.

Today I called Cox and had my plan adjusted down to 250 mbps and dumped the phone. I ended up saving $35/month. Never used the phone anyway, just use cell phones.
What I found out is Cox does not want you to downgrade your plan, I was transferred three times to “someone that can help you”.
