People moving to The Lehigh Valley need to find a place to eat. Be it cheap and greasy, or expensive and highbrow.

I'll start the list with a few of our favorites, please add your own.

Diner - City-View Diner on MacArthur Rd. in Allentown
Restaurant - Federal Grill & Cigar Bar Hamilton Blvd. Allentown
and of course.........Yocco's The Hot Dog King!

I attended a holiday dinner at Melt last year and thought it was excellent! It's located at the Promonade shops in Saucon Valley.

And speaking of the promonade shops, there is a bagel place that's really good and has to die for gelato (I had some this morning at 10:30 a.m.)

I also had lunch at the Buckeye in Macungie and although it was very dark inside, the food was really good!

Haven't been to Edge, but I agree that Melt is really good.

I also like the Minsi Trail Inn in Bethlehem for Sunday brunch.

We went to the Edge for our anniversary this past summer. It was wonderful. We went on a Thursday night and had to wait an hour. Fortunately, it was a beautiful evening so we walked around Bethlehem. I thought I read that the Minsi Trail Inn was closed. There was an article in the paper a couple of months ago about it closing abrubtly. Am I remembering wrong?

Our favorite Sunday lunch is Wegmans on Tilghman street in West Allentown! My son and I go there after church. I usually get the soup in the cooler months and he gets pizza, wings or the Chinese buffet.

We haven't been there since early summer, so it is possible, I hope not though.

I love Wegman's! My dream would be to merge a Wegman's & Target into one huge one-stop store.

Just googled Minsi Trail Inn and found the article from the Morning Call: Minsi Trail Inn closing remains a mystery -- themorningcall.com It was in the retail watch column. I heard it was a nice place to eat.
