I beg anyone especially those realtors and foolish investors who purchased homes during this bubble to disclaim this data. Please prove me and Robert Schiller wrong.

YOU CAN'T

ER, Do you realize that some people on this forum neither bought a home at all or bought it during the "bubble" ? Do you know that when you buy a house you know the price that the previous owner paid and also all recent sales in the area? None of that is a surprise. Perhaps you were duped and now own a home you can't sell but that does not mean that anyone that posts here had the same experience. Our home has appreciated quite a bit since we bought it. Please, can we talk about something else Lehigh Valleyish..... Pretty please.

OK, ER wins!

I will be selling my lovely new house in Macungie just to teach myself a lesson.

So what if we live in our dream house in a great neighborhood and the kids are happy - ER says we did a very dumb thing by buying this overpriced McMansion when we did, so now we must pay the piper.

We should have known better than to take that full corporate relocation to the Lehigh Valley so that my husband no longer had to sit in Philly traffic twice a day. What were we thinking?

Default Lehigh Valley Real Estate In Trouble

Now even the paper isn't hiding the truth. The only thing that's incorrect is prices are not going to stop dropping until they reach 1996 levels or worse.
