Hi,
we are contemplating a job change that will take us to Little Rock.

We are full time RV'ers so our questions revolve around that lifestyle.

1. Are there full time campgrounds in Little Rock area?

2. Will winter months allow a person to even live in an RV fulltime?

3. Any recommendations for preferred campgrounds? We would need all of the amenities and access to internet for work at home efforts periodically.

4. We would be coming from FL so we are familiar with hot and humid summers. It's the winter months that have us a little concerned.

Thank you!

there is an rv park in downtown little rock, downtownriversidervpark.com i am not an rv owner at the present time and have not stayed there when i was, but i do ride by it on the bicycle trail that circles thought north little rock and little rock. it is usually full of high $ units and seems to be very well kept. take a look at their website and you will see they have a great downtown location with awesome views of the river and downtown little rock. some of our bicycle riding friends like to stay there when they come to town, because of the proximity to the trail and local attractions. they have never talked about any issues with their stays. also, there is a city/county park and a koa within a few miles in north little rock. they both have a lot more shade trees and more of a wilderness type setting.

hope you enjoy your stay, if you decide to make the move.

Little Rock RV parks

In the 80's, while working in LR, I stayed the winter in Burns Park...in a 16' Scotty....at the time it was a great park, little used, especially in the winter. They may have a "move after 14 days" rule... Winter weather should not be a problem.

That looks much better...very shady! Burns Park itself is beautiful. We used to stop there and have lunch on our trips to Jasper when the kids were little. Let them play and stretch their legs a while. It was great.

Default Maumelle Park

Maumelle Park along the river is very pretty. I do not know how long you are allowed to stay but it is open year round.
