This is a question out of curiosity. Walter, where are you when we need you? lol

Anyways, these three areas seem so similar being affluent Long Island communities. They also seem to have a similar namesake, is it just a coincidence?

What are the differences between these 3 communities?

Are they linked in any kind of way?

(*Correction: West Hills is actually in Suffolk County. Sorry about that.)

The difference is that they each have a different compass rose direction in their names.
They are similar such that they each contain the suffix "Hills."

Well, all those places you mentioned are basically little hamlets associated with larger villages (with which they share school districts and other services).

East Hills is generally associated with Roslyn, North Hills with Manhasset, and West Hills with Huntington/Melville.
