Is there an active moderator in this forum? I know, probably a rhetorical question, but I have to ask b/c I looked through thread after after thread and can't find one. Even in the threads that get closed you usually get a moderator making the last post saying "this thread has spiraled out of control, yada ,yada" but I'm not even finding a name in those.

Would be nice to see something where people can't so easily create accounts to troll .
Maybe make new accounts have to wait a little to post so you don't have some users creating like 2 or 3 accounts on the same day just to troll .

That's the guy and I wouldn't wish his job as moderator of this forum on my worst enemies.

Yeah, that guy resorted to posting after midnight, since during the day his posts get nuked in a matter of minutes.

Creat a poll. I will bet most C-D'er's will agree with you about this.

No newbies should be able to start threads until they have participated in maybe 10-20 other threads and posted 50 times first.
As a programmer, I'm thinking that would be an easy thing to track.

(P.S. A lot of the so-called newbies aren't new to City-Data, in my opinion. And that makes their posts illegal, doesn't it?)

I think they can easily ban an IP and this particular troll probably knows how to get around that. As long as someone is using different throw away emails to register it's probably hard to keep someone from signing up for multiple accounts.
