My truck has a 25 gal tank, so more than $100.......

And for what? Are the roads better? No, CA is ranked continually in the bottom 10 states....42nd in 2018. And it spends 2.5 times the national average to build/repair roads.....

The reasons? IMHO....
1) Administrative costs
2) Union Labor
3) Misuse of funds
4) Environmental BS

Not only would we have less wear and tear on our roads, but we'd also have less net carbon emissions if there were fewer people living here. So, here I sit STILL waiting for somebody to tell me why its imperative that L.A.'s population continues to grow.

Democrats rammed through that gas and car tax increase with no input from the voters

There was a proposition to repeal it, but California voters were too stupid to pass it.

How's Venture Blvd and Central L.A.?

Perhaps you can go to Vancouver BC...oh wait, you can't afford it.

I just bought fuel for 85 cents per gallon on Friday. Instead of gasoline, it's ethanol (E85). 33 gallons total for only $28. (E85 Flex-Fuel vehicle required). It could have cost me $138 of $4.19 per gallon at this same location.

Well just to rub it in, I live in a heavily armed refugee camp of exiles in AZ, just across the Colorado from occupied California...

Our gas last time I filled was $2.42, cost me $28 to about half fill my truck. In Needles, CA just over the river, gas is over $5.00. Pretty sad.
