No it is not worth it the savings of $2.00 a hour for the illegal gardener. I said before "what a mess". Vote, Vote, Vote!

Uhm, the costs are a LOT more entrenched than that.

Homebuilders and people who operate meat processing plants hire illegals too. So do local restaurants. There are more price reductions than meets the eye. This is why guest workers were proposed.

What is the URL or source of the INS report?

Exactly! Why politicians are catering to illegals? ILLEGALS CAN'T VOTE!

The document itself is probably over a hundred pages. To see parts; http://www.capoliticalnews.com/s/spip.php?article25 (broken link)

You must realize that employment is usually no more than 10% of business expense;whether that restaurants, meat packing,etc.. Therefore, total business expense only increases .6-.8 percent.

It (benefits for illegals among others) was already voted on but the CA courts declared it "unconstitutional" hence the accuracy of the term "Mexifornia", the 21 century "promised land" where all they have to do is hop a border and the indigenous Californians work to support these "pilgrims".

Keep in mind the thousands that were here illegally, then granted amnesty, are now voting.

And there were illegals who did not get amnesty and were later arrested by the feds.

In Houston, we had a case where Ashley Benton, a (White) American teenage girl stabbed to death a (Hispanic) American boy named Gabriel Granillo in the Ervan Chew Park as a part of a gang fight. Benton was later arrested.

Granillo's dad was an illegal immigrant from El Salvador. The dad never applied for amnesty, so he was arrested and deported. Granillo's mom died of a cancer in order to bear Gabriel's little sister, Vanessa, so Granillo's family life deteriorated even more.

To read about this crazy case, see: http://www.chron.com/content/chronicle/special/06/butterfly/butterfly.html (broken link)

"Gabriel's dad had been in the United States for 19 years, before the civil war in El Salvador sent streams of Salvadorans north. He was here in 1997, when Bill Clinton signed the Nicaraguan Adjustment and Central American Relief Act, and here in 1986, when Ronald Reagan granted millions of illegal immigrants residency. But unlike the rest of his family, he never bothered taking the bureaucratic steps toward legalization.

So right now, a 2004 driving-under-the-influence conviction was catching up with him. An agent took out his cuffs. Gabriel's dad told them he had three children to take care of, all of them born U.S. citizens."

Again, feds typically only go after illegals who commit crimes. His dad, who was DUMB enough to do a DUI (and drive in the first place), was arrested. This PUNISHED him and the family.

There's also a section about what happens to U.S. born kids who have their parents deported.

Here's an example:
"
Q: Can't parents argue that they shouldn't be deported because their American children need them here?
Before the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996, if undocumented parents could prove to a judge that their deportation would hurt a U.S. citizen family member, the judge could let them stay.

But the act made deportation automatic. Capps said that change added tens of thousands of deportations per year. The number of deportations jumped from about 40,000 a year in the mid-'90s to 204,000 in 2005.
