IF his parents are gonna pay, good for the OP. I think people are just jealous. I see nothing wrong with that if her parents can afford it. I know many parents that do that, like my father, unfortunately my parents are divorced and I don't get the special treatment.

If you get a room mate, you can get something decent for maybe 1300 in West Hollywood. I didn't read everything..but you will find something for 1300 for a one bed room apt. It's just gonna be an ok apartment.
