There are actually a lot of things that you can do in Lake Charles! It depends on when you are going to be here for some things, of course, but there's quite a few things that are always here!

You can always take a look at the alligators at the Civic Center. You can find out what musician or show is at the Rosa Hart theater at the Civic Center and go there.

A great date place to go eat is Pujo St. Cafe. It is a very nice place and it will probably make you think of a French cafe!

There are a lot of different parks and you can go to one, barbecue, or have a picnic.

If you like Mexican, the best Mexican restaurant is El Tapatio.

You can go bowling either at Petro Bowl or Sports Center USA. Right next to Petro Bowl there is a Putt-Putt golf course.

There are regular golf courses.

There are plenty of little local restaurants rather than fast food chains and we also have fast food chains if that's what you prefer.

I know there's more . . .

Agree with kagomeshuko. You can also drive to Aucoins in Hayes and eat fine seafood and dance to french music.

you can always hit up lauberge du lac. Or just cross the I10 bridge and go to isle of capri in westlake.

The sugarcane bay project is in the makings and it will be adjacent to the lauberge casino.

Click here to find out some other development that is going to begin taking place
