I might be moving to Louisville in March of next year and I would like to know if there is a place just outside of Louisville that is low in crime, not much of a communte, and a nice place to live. I am single so I am looking for a good price on rent.

Live in the city somewhere east of I-65 and you will be fine on crime. really downtown and surrounding areas is becoming very nice.

That is a guide that is very good. Where are you moving from? Do you like urban amenities (museums, arts, funky coffee shops) or suburban stuff (Walmart, big movie theatres, etc)? Let me know and I can guide you as to what you would like.

If you like country and consider yourself very "southern" I would look at places like Mount Washington, KY and Shepherdsville, KY. Both are essentially small townish suburbs but are only 20 minutes away from all the action of the city. They are a nice compromise.
