I was downtown today and the Museum Plaza site filled with cranes and bulldozers - this is a good sign

I seriously doubt museum plaza will be built downtown Louisville. The office rate vacancy doesn’t support such a bold project in Louisville let alone any major city at this time. If it does get built it won’t be at the height or renderings that has been planned. Will be interesting to see if it gets built as the renderings.

Do you really think Museum Plaza will get built exactly as the renderings considering the high office vacancy rate downtown Louisville? Lots of jobs has left the downtown core and the city is begging companies to stay downtown and others to relocate to downtown. Building tall 60 story buildings downtown any mid size city isn’t a realistic option at this time with the current market and that’s true for any city in America.
