Who remembers the Blue Cottage bar on Bardstown Rd.? It was two blocks (I think) before Eastern Pkwy.
I worked there as a bartender somewhere around 1970. Recently got to wondering about some of the people from there, but Google can't tell me anything about it The two owners were Frankie and Patsy; can't remember either one's last name.
Would appreciate any memories anyone can share.

I personally do not remember the Blue Cottage, but my dad said he used to dine there in his bachelor days in the late 1940's. I'd really like to know where it was, exactly.

My Grandparents (Joe & Lillie Book) owned the Blue Cottage for a few years During WWII. They sold it and returned to the home place in Starlight afterwards. The location was the original site of the Bristol on Bardstown road. in 1977 (1321 Bardstown road). The building was demolished in 1983 and the Bristol moved into another building next door. I wish I had more info, but most everyone in my family who lived & worked there during that era are now gone except my 90 year old Father (who was 10 back then. Ironically, I was 10 when the Bristol opened there) and 97 year old Aunt.
