Seems to me that Louisville citizens should vote for a completely different slate of candidates (or even a different party) in the next elections. Whoever they've chosen to run things over the last several decades have clearly failed to do the basic things their constituents deserve. Like the definition of insanity; if you keep electing the same people, you'll keep getting the same results.

Standard issue response here.

Serious question - please name a city in the US that is IMPROVING wildly.

The entire country is swirling the drain. Louisville isn't unique.

Didn’t say Louisville is unique. It’s far from unique. Problem with vast majority of 100 largest cities is they’re dominated by a single party. Instead of taking refuge that your city isn’t unique , why not break from the pack and elect a fiscally responsible and conservative leader who won’t decimate your police firce and won’t politicize the school system? If Louisville ever did that, people would take notice and start being attracted to such a place.

Louisville is positioned to boom! It all depends on who is our next mayor, and also the governor....
