I think the only reason I might want it so much is precisely because I am not seeing it. Also, I was eating a lot of pizza the start of the year, and I associate pizza with birch beer (which admittedly is probably a peculiar Jersey shore combination, however well they go together). It's one of those regional flavors that I am surprised has remained so regional.

(It looks like some H-E-Bs carry birch beer, but I have yet to see it at ours.)

Incidentally, I should probably mention it's a soda, not actually a beer, in case anyone doesn't know that.

So, what is it? A soda? A beer? Do you have a name? Tried to Google it?

You can order this from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Boylan-Bottli...df_B01H4OK180/

https://www.amazon.com/Pennsylvania-...1LXEV1TQ&psc=1

This you can buy at ACE hardware store:
https://www.acehardware.com/departme...erages/9290057

This at Walmart:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Birch-Beer/632343044

Plus many other brands are available to buy online...

Thanks. I know I can find it online, I am just not desperate enough to pay the extra cost of having it delivered. I'm not familiar with Wild Bill's. If I go to Walmart I'll look for that one.

The most common brand I was familiar with was Pennsylvania Dutch birch beer. Sioux City makes a good one as well, from what I remember. Boylan makes one that tastes too much like standard root beer, and another that's better. I'm sure I drank some generic supermarket versions when I was growing up, as well. There are quite a few smaller brands I have never tried or even seen.

Hey, Nomad, they've also got Spec's locations in town. You may want to check one of those. I'm actually surprised that Market Street didn't have them in their inventory.
