I am willing to drive 45 minutes to Annapolis Mall just for the amazing family bathrooms.

No particular favorite now. I go to Marley Station most often just because it's the closest.

I liked Harundale Mall when it still had the cage with a mynah bird that would curse the shoppers.

I really like the mall in Columbia. It has great parking, and it is a 2-story mall with a lot of major department stores and smaller stores. It has a carousel and indoor play area for the kids (the Starbucks and ice cream place are right next to the carousel - good planning mall folks!). I really like that the movie theater and restaurants are actually outside of the mall, but still on mall grounds accessible to the parking lot. They are connected by what my son calls "rock park" because it has large boulders for easy seating and a nice waterfall. The food court is huge, and it's not as crazy busy as the Arundel Mills mall. It is very clean and well-maintained.

Maryland has some crappy malls. Tysons kills every mall in the region hands down.

I agree - if you want high end shopping Maryland is not for you. Move on down to NoVa and clog up their highways ;> (However, if you are in need of the basics Maryland will suit you fine.)

I HATE malls. The create nothing but bad situations during the holidays and they gobble up property around them (Columbia mall).

I use to love White Marsh Mall but I havent been in years, I like Columbia and Annapolis if we want to strictly state Maryland Malls. Outside of Maryland I love Tysons and Leesburg Outlets.

White Marsh mall is slowly becoming just as ghetto-ized as EastPoint (so is Towson for that matter). And I don't mean that racially at all, they are just becoming filled with trashy, loud-mouthed, inconsiderate people.
