Has anyone stayed there? Please tell me your experience. Not a fan of chain hotels myself. I am far away but thinking about traveling to the east in a few months for an event. It looks lovely and the owners have an inspiring story as to its background.

I watched a 10 min. video and read the website. The owner seems to be a remarkable cook and if you want to order Thanksgiving dinner, you might want to check it out. I don't know if they will have a sit down dinner or if that will only be for guests at the BnB. It seems to be accessible by boat from the Potomac.

I have no idea why the photo below is attached to this video! Has nothing to do with it!

If you're planning on going to DC Hollywood is quite the hike.

Having said that, BandBs, VRBOs, Home Away, etc. have really spread in the area over the last few years.

Lisa, your a little confused. Calvert Cliffs are in Calvert County.

Calverton is very different, it's the name of a 1970-era housing development on I-95 near Silver Spring/ Beltsville.

It's also the name of a private school in Huntingtown, MD.

As a courtesy, I have copied the link to this discussion, to the "Life in Southern Maryland" forum website, which deals specifically with Saint Mary's County.

You can google "Life in Southern Maryland"
