Interesting to read all the comments from this old thread. The comment about getting a ticket in Bethesda and all the traffic is true. For that area. It's simply not true in Mt Airy and so many other places in the state.

As a former life long Marylander, one of best decisions we ever made was moving 900 miles away. MD today is certainly not where I grew up. So glad to be outta there. I hate to sound like a bad mouther, but I am telling you the truth.
