Husband is enjoying is short commute, and we all are loving going to the beach. There have been lots of changes and adjustments, but it's all working out. We chose to forgo cable, and haven't decided if we need wifi yet. We have to cook at home 90% of the time now and that's probably been one of the hardest things to do with our schedules and large family. We found a great little church that seems like a good fit for us, and starting to meet some really nice locals. We live by the park and the kids are already making friends. I love the steep walking up to the grocery store as it challenges me to work out. I don't think we could have picked a better place for us. The rent is high but we knew that coming in. I'd love to buy a house here but just don't see how we ever could. Looks like we'll be renting for a decade lol! For now, it's just trucking along and enjoying one day at a time.

The kids will want wifi.

Hahaha! I'm sure they want it but they don't need it. One of the reasons we left the mainland was the culture of all the kids stuck in the house with nothing to do. It be on electronics. Not saying Maui kids don't do that, but here there's significant more to do outside and in the community.
