Another fast food place. No thanks.

Perhaps a Chipotle or Baja Mexican Grill or anything Mexican and decent might get my attention since it doesn't exist on Oahu. The best I've found are declared "well, that's good for Hawaii"

If you can open an In-N-Out on Maui I will love you. Otherwise, no.

Why open a chain store when all the food has to be flown in from the mainland? Open a LocaVore store where everything is sourced from a ten mile radius or something.

Never been to a Chik-fil-a, but we did go to an In-N-Out burger in California. Pretty sparse menu but a pretty good burger.

How about a soup and salad bar restaurant with home baked breads, too? Serving salad produced from farms nearby and soups from nearby ingredients, too? Ship in whole organic grain and grind it on the spot for the breads. If it's a salad and soup bar, all you'd have to do is keep the salad ingredients and soups filled and bus the tables. Self serve drinks and all locally produced of those, too. Keep the whole thing really local and no waitstaff and it should be profitable. One cook/baker, one prep person, a service-the-salad-bar/bus person and someone to manage and take the money. Have customers pay to go in the door and one price for a soup bowl, another for salad plate, another price for both. All plates include drinks. Toss in Jell-o, cakes or cookies for dessert or something. Should be profitable.

I actually prefer chickfila over the current offering of chicken fast foods in the islands. but i doubt it would work out logistically unless you dont have any other competition.

Nope. But that's just because chain-food garbage is not my thing....

A Chick-fil-A in Hawaiʻi? Heck no! I tried that salty mess a couple of times in California and the chicken sandwiches at McDonald's, Burger King, and KFC are better. However, I prefer chicken katsu musubi and teri chicken musubi over chicken sandwiches.

Chicken porn! I am trying not to drool, but then I'm in Florida and every Chick-fil-A I've visited appears to be a gold mine. Big regret that my grandpa didn't buy a franchise for my mom like he wanted to 40 years ago (but no, she wanted to run a country club, which was an epic fail).

Good luck!

Only if you can get it so that we can order shipments to be brought to Kaua'i like they do for Krispy Kreme, otherwise it's of no help. And if you could do Zaxbys over Chick-Fil-A, than I'd really love you.
