We are planning a trip to Maul in October of this year

Our son is 4 and will be 5 in January. He already swims well and practices twice a week and has already competied in two kids triathlons.

I noticed that some of the kayaking companies only allow 5 year olds to come along, anyome know of any that cater for slightly younger?

Thank you

Martin

Assuming that you know something about kayaking, and something about the ocean, specifically the ocean around Maui, they rent kayaks at the Mana Kai, Southwest side of Maui, just north of Wailea. Just don't be an idiot and go in if the water is beyond your comfort level, although October is normally not bad, unless something is brewing, as in a hurricane or tropical disturbance.

Thanks for the baby beach info. Looks great. Just want to get him use to a kayak. Nothing too adventurous. Get him use to goggles underwater. Thanks for that. It’s his and the wife’s first trip to the island.
