A million (mostly non white) immigrants wouldn't be flooding into any country that had a serious "white supremacy" problem. So Tucker is clearly right.
Carlson's comments were smug, dismissive, and slim on evidence. Many people wholeheartedly and unironically believe there's a white supremacy problem in the country, and they are willing to lay down their lives in defense against it.
Since Obama's 2nd term, the country has been drunk on pure emotion, and it's resulting in extremists from "both sides" murdering completely innocent people. The country could have benefited immensely from a network like Fox News to deliver factual evidence that deconstructs the myth of America being run by a white supremacy complex with Trump as the figurehead, sending sign language and dog whistles (and other ridiculous lies propagated by outlets like CNN, which again, people sincerely believe).
If Carlson believes the temperature in the US is a little high right now, he could put more effort into his nationally broadcasted commentary.
