I agree 100%.

We have not had cable in 8+ years, & hardly ever turn on our antenna-only local programming.

We go months at a time w/o turning on a TV (we have 2 of them, 1 inside, 1 on the lanai).

But then, Hurricane Ian knocked out our internet for 2 weeks, so we thought we'd try the TV again for entertainment, and news

It is much worse now than it was 8 years ago...lots more commercials, & the content is terrible.

We wont turn it on again until the next hurricane knocks out our internet...likely several years from now.

If there was a cable tv station called "Good News America" that reported only on good news, its ratings would be lower than CNN's.
