The suspect in this video had hit the gas and took off in his car after being been pulled over by the police.
Later when apprehended he was asked why he sped away. His answer, "I don't know."
It's imperative the police have video/audio footage of every interaction with the public. In this instance standing down the hallway attempting to reason with the suspect who has already ran once had to be a bit nerve-racking.
And if shots had been fired during this arrest the police department as well as the public would want to see the video footage.
