I browse RealClearPolitics often, mostly for the polls, and scan the assembled headlines. They are invariably stupid, and much stupider than ten years ago.

There's a lot of good content on YouTube now though.

I started checking out RCP in 2010. Can't recall if headlines were better/worse back in the day. However, they do have a nice selection of articles. I use Firefox browser (along with an extension) which allows me to access articles behind a paywall.

The MSM has lost its juice because it was never real to begin with. 50% of its reporting was absolute fiction, 25% was distorted truth, and the remainder was somewhat true, but you had to go to the bottom of the story, or revisit a few weeks later for the truth to come out.

Is the MSM going to make up fake news on Joe Biden or the Democrats? No. Will the the MSM protect them at all costs and lie? yes.

Theres nothing substantial for them to report on, if they are not going to manufacture news, or report on the truth of the Dems.

My guess is even the most radical leftists out there clamor for a conversation other than this ISM, that ISM or Donald Trump bashing. I know they do have a ferocious appetite for this stuff but come on! All day, everyday? Yawn!

The media has extremely low approval ratings, so they have lost a LOT of influence. I agree that this could be the 1st post media national election where the MSM has very little sway.

Good topic.

I believe 'some' inroads have been made. 'Some' folks have realized the media can't be trusted.

Yet the indoctrinated are legion. It's going to take time.
