The media is gasping for air, ratings, and advertising dollars without Trump. These election results will cost them Billions in lost ad revenues.
They have nothing good to report to their Lefty patients that can heal their wounded emotions...it's all dark & scary. Convict Bannon, & Supoena Trump is the sedative du jour...but they need more.
The Libs become emotionally distraught over the election results, so they'll turn off all media...too painful, & the sedatives will stop working.
After the dry, & they quit shaking, they'll become and look for someone to blame, & focus their towards...a villain...enter Trump.
The media has become one 'UGE psychotherapy session for the Leftist Pawns. They sink their audience into emotional dispair, then throw them an emotional lifeline; all to sell ads, & help the left consolidate power, & wealth.

Then there's the media lady who warned voters about John Fetterman's mental condition & ability to serve after she interviewed him in person, using reading devices.
There have been several instances of the media trying to seperate themselves from the Biden regime, and I'm not having ANY of it. CNN firing a bunch of lefties, and saying they plan to be more balanced...too late for that.

Media ratings are going to plummet when the Pubs regain control of the House, & maybe the Senate.
The Libs will be so emotionallly distraught that they will not be able to tune in to the media to hear & see the carnage.
And, only 8% of Pubs believe in anything the media reports, so no help there, & no Trump to boost ratings either.
The media might start donating big money to the Trump campaign to entice him to run, so the media can improve ratings.
You seem to exclude faux news from "media", there are about 70 million people that believe every word mentioned on the faux news propaganda network. Not to mention the millions of rural Americans that listen exclusively to some form of conservative talk radio, which is their bible when it comes to information.
No, he's not moving right. But the rest of the Democrat party has been charging headlong to left, so much so that Maher's own leftward journey has resulted in his being left behind by the rest of the fanatics in the party.

I have been pointing this out for a while now. The MSM would have people believe it is the (R's) who have gone hard right, when in reality their party platform has not changed much since the days of Ronal Reagan in the 1980's.
Conversely, the leftists/progressives in the (D) party have taken over the moderates/pragmatic side, to the point of them running away from the Bill Clinton years in the 1990's. Heck Hillary ran away from those reasoned policies, trying to get to the left of Obama & Sanders, both whom socialists at best, closet communists at worst.
Now they have Biden as a hapless puppet, doing their bidding because he is a shell of his former self.
