I am thinking in the future I would like to visit Oaxaca and Chiapas. THe bus fares seems reasonable. How safe is it to travel on the bus? I would like to spend some time in Oaxaca then travel down to Chiapas. There are a few specfic sites I would really like to see. Mainly archaeological ruins and a few small towns. I would not be going to puerto escondido or huatulco or any of the maor beach towns. There are a few place along the coast I would like to visit down towards the Istmus area of Oaxaca. Anyone been around there?
